How to borrow license from Protection Server (concerns Floating License only)

This procedure allows the user to “borrow” a license for a period of up to three months. This can be useful for working offline or if your internet connection is unstable. It does mean that one license is taken from the server, so for a site license with 10 workplaces, it will mean only 9 will remain available on the server for other users during this period. Used licenses for your site license may be controlled by clicking on the button “Show used licenses for Site License”.

  1. Run the ZSoil Protection Manager (Search for ZSoil Protection Manager 2023 or it can be found under Program Files\ZSoil\Tools v2023\ZPrtMngr)
  2. Choose date within the next three months and press the button “Borrow license from protection server”

3. Wait for confirmation

 

4. Close the ZSoil Protection Manager with the OK button
