ZSoil Day 2023 Presentations

38 years of ZSoil & Structures
Numerics in Geotechnics and Structures 2023
The 2023 meeting brought together ZSoil users, engineers and researchers on
25 August 2023 at HEIA in Fribourg, Switzerland,
marking 38 years of ZSoil & Structures.
This year’s presentations cover a broad range of practical and research applications,
including pile foundations for high-rise buildings, blast-induced ground movements
around tunnels, diaphragm walls, slope instabilities, timber connections, building
rectification and heat exchangers.
Modelling topics include Bayesian calibration, conditional random fields, interface
elements, soil parameter determination and coupled processes, alongside updates on
ZSoil’s developments.
The presentations from the four technical sessions are available below.
