Why are results missing for some shell elements ?
Definition of vector V is required to establish local base for shell elements. It may happen that for complex shell structures this denition leads to the situation that vector V is parallel to the element normal axis. In that case new local basis setup is nonunique and hence results for these elements will not be displayed. Additionally the following warning is shown: “No way to define a local system for shell/contact for given vector”.

How to define the local base for shells?
Use Settings/Local coord. system/shells,membranes/contact menu to open a dialog.

For walls global Y axis is best choice. For slabs X or Z axis.
